Plagiarism Policy

JoEMS (Journal of Education and Management Studies) requires original scholarship and appropriate acknowledgement of all sources.

Plagiarism includes presenting another person’s words, ideas, data, images, or other intellectual contributions without adequate attribution. Unacknowledged translation, patchwork copying, misleading text recycling, and undisclosed duplicate publication are also unacceptable.

Submissions may undergo text-similarity screening and editorial examination. A similarity percentage alone does not establish plagiarism or demonstrate originality. Editors assess the sources, context, extent, and significance of overlap, including legitimate quotations, references, and standard methodological descriptions.

Authors must identify quotations, cite paraphrased material, and disclose related publications or overlapping manuscripts.

Where concerns arise, the journal will assess the evidence and seek an explanation from the authors. Limited attribution problems may require correction before further consideration. Substantial plagiarism may result in rejection. Concerns involving published articles may lead to a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, as appropriate. Relevant institutions may be contacted when further investigation is necessary.

Reports should identify the article and provide specific supporting evidence.
