Manuscript Type

JoEMS (Journal of Education and Management Studies) welcomes scholarly manuscripts addressing education and management, including research that connects these disciplines. The journal considers the following manuscript types:

1. Original Research Articles

Articles reporting original empirical research using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods. Submissions must present a clear research problem, an appropriate theoretical foundation, transparent methods, well-supported findings, and a meaningful contribution to knowledge or practice.

Educational research may address teaching and learning, curriculum, educational technology, assessment, educational policy, or institutional leadership. Management research may address human resources, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, organisational behaviour, strategy, or operations.

2. Systematic Literature Reviews

Articles that systematically identify, evaluate, and synthesise existing research to answer a clearly defined question. Authors must explain the information sources, search strategy, eligibility criteria, selection process, appraisal procedures, and synthesis methods. Meta-analysis may be included where appropriate.

All submissions must demonstrate originality, critical analysis, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with its publication ethics policies. Manuscript classification does not determine acceptance; both types undergo editorial assessment and peer review.
