Pengembangan Video Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Bandicam untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of implementing Bandicam-based learning media and to examine students’ responses toward its use in Aqidah Akhlak learning for Grade X students at MA Darul Ma’arif Lamongan.
Methodology/approach: This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed product was a PowerPoint-based learning video recorded using Bandicam, covering Aqidah Akhlak topics on avoiding extravagant behavior (israf), riya’, and sum’ah. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and expert validation. The participants consisted of one media expert, one material expert, and 14 Grade X students from a single class who were involved in the field-testing stage.
Findings: The media expert validation yielded a feasibility score of 89.33%, while the material expert validation reached 82.66%, both categorized as highly feasible. Student response questionnaires showed a feasibility percentage of 80.44%, indicating that the learning media was easy to use, visually appealing, and supportive of
independent learning. The overall average feasibility score from all assessments was 84.14%, placing the product in the highly feasible category.
Practical implications: Bandicam-based learning media can serve as an innovative alternative for Aqidah Akhlak teachers in presenting abstract theological and moral concepts through more interactive, engaging, and accessible learning experiences for Madrasah Aliyah students.
Originality/value: This study contributes to the development of learning media in Islamic education by integrating Bandicam screen-recording technology into Aqidah Akhlak instruction at the Madrasah Aliyah level. Although video-based learning media have been widely developed in Islamic education, the application of Bandicam-based media in Aqidah Akhlak learning remains limited and has received relatively little attention in previous studies.
