Electronic Archiving Policy

Business and Economic Publication utilizes digital archiving networks and repository policies to ensure long-term preservation and permanent access to all published articles.

Digital Preservation Systems

  • LOCKSS & CLOCKSS: This journal utilizes the Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) and CLOCKSS systems to build a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, creating permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Automatically preserves published metadata and full-text content across a decentralized network of partner institutions.

Self-Archiving & Repository Policy Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their work in institutional, national, or subject repositories (such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, or university digital libraries) under the following conditions:

  • Pre-print: Authors may archive pre-print versions prior to peer review.

  • Post-print & Publisher's PDF (Version of Record): Authors may archive the final published PDF version immediately upon publication, provided that full bibliographic details and a link to the official article DOI on the journal website are included.
