Data were collected through interviews and tests, and the data analysis employed t-test analysis. The results of the hypothesis test, using the Paired Sample T-Test, showed that the average pre-test score was 59.0, while the average post-test score was 81.67. Based on the hypothesis test results, Sig. = 0.000 < a = 0.05. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of watching Arabiy films has a significant impact on improving the speaking skills (maharah kalam) of the students in the Tsanawi class at Al Berr Islamic Boarding School.
