Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the knowledge of Islamic religious education and the behavior of students at SMPN 4 Konawe Selatan, as well as to determine whether knowledge of Islamic religious education influences student behavior in that school. The method used is quantitative, with data collection through questionnaires and documentation. The instrument testing includes validity and reliability tests. The population of this study consists of 176 students, and the sample used is 100 students from SMPN 4 Konawe Selatan. Data analysis is performed using descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, classical assumption tests, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that the variable of knowledge of Islamic religious education has an average score of 38.02, categorized as sufficient, while student behavior has an average score of 26.83, categorized as very good. The t-test in this study indicates that the calculated t-value is greater than the table t-value. For the partial test, the significance (Sig.) value obtained is 0.000, which is below 0.05 (alpha 5%). Additionally, in the regression test, the constant value is 6.512, and the coefficient value is 0.513. Furthermore, there is a positive influence from the independent variable on the dependent variable
